Andrée Fauchère is an herbalist and has been working with medicinal plants for over 30 years. Passionate about nature and plants, especially medicinal plants and the oral tradition that she practices, she quickly went to meet all the people who could talk to her and tell her about the oral tradition of ancestral herbal medicine.
She became interested in everything related to popular medicine. She obtained a diploma in herbalism from the Ecole Lyonnaise de Plantes Médicinales and never stopped practicing.
She continued her training with homeopathy, magneto-geometry and practised for a year in a medical practice as an herbalist.
She will participate in the creation of the School of medicinal plants Homme et Nature sans frontières in Evolène from 2001 to 2007, and teaches the use of medicinal plants, essential oils, Bach flowers, vegetable oils etc.
And one day, Andrée Fauchère met her friend the beautiful Rhodiola rosea!
The oral tradition that Andrée Fauchère is so fond of tells that in the life of a herbalist, one day it is a plant that will meet her.
This would be a grace by way of thanks to the herbalist for her love of plants, but above all for the respect she has for nature.
She tells us about her happiness in getting to know the beautiful Rhodiola rosea and tells us her story, that of a so-called adaptogenic plant, in a little book: Ma racine d'Or - Rhodiola rosea - la plante du XXIe siècle.
Andrée Fauchère says: I will not tire of praising my friend the plant that came to find me and that will remain for a long time the one that brings balance, peace and serenity.
