Comby Vins

Description

The Comby family has been cultivating vines in Chamoson for centuries, from generation to generation.

In 1962, Fernande and Louis Comby began the adventure of making their own wine.

Passionate about viticulture and oenology, their son Gratien obtained his oenology diploma at Changins in 1980 and joined the destiny of the estate. Aware of the exceptional potential of the Valaisan grape varieties, he planted Humagne rouge, Cornalin and Petite Arvine. He markets the entire harvest in bottles and creates the first blends.

In 2006, Yann, Gratien's son, began his training at the Changins school. In 2008, his father passed on to him the responsibility for the entire vinification of the estate's wines. With the experience of the two previous generations, Yann continues the adventure by selecting the excellence of the Chamoson terroir.

He also confirms the estate's commitment to respecting the environment by adhering to the specifications of Bio Suisse.
