Through the grape varieties of the Rhone Valley

Description

On Saturdays at 9.45 am, your Vinabus welcomes you at Martigny station for your thematic weekend dedicated to the discovery of Valaisan grape varieties, the work from the vine to the bottle and the wines that result from it. In Fully, Anne Carron-Bender paints a portrait of the Petite Arvine, the emblematic grape variety of the area.

At noon, you enjoy a meal based on regional products in the restaurant Le Chavalard of the Slow Food Cooks' Alliance. Then, Slow Wine winemakers introduce you to Humagne Rouge at Cave Le Bosset in Leytron and Johannisberg at Comby Vins in Chamoson. At Château de Vaas, you are presented with Cornalin, the emblematic wine of Flanthey. You end the day with a good meal at the Restaurant A Table of the Ibis Style Hotel in Sierre where you are staying.

On Sunday, you head to Salquenen for new discoveries on the theme of wine. Around midday, your tour ends at the Château de Villa in Sierre where you will be served five raw milk raclettes from different Valais regions and the wines to match them.
