At 9:45am, your Vinabus welcomes you at Martigny station for a thematic day dedicated to the discovery of Valais grape varieties, the work of the vine in the bottle and the wines that are made from them. In Fully, Anne Carron-Bender, a professional local guide, passionate about the history of her canton and its vineyards, will introduce you to the history of the Valais wine region during a two-hour walk. She will introduce you to the Petite Arvine, the emblematic grape variety of the area.
At noon, you will enjoy a meal based on regional products at the Slow Food Chefs' Alliance restaurant Le Chavalard. Then, winemakers from Slow Wine network will show you their work in Leytron and Chamoson. Finally, at the Château de Vaas, you get an introduction on Cornalin, the emblematic grape of Flanthey.
Your day ends in the early evening at Sierre station.
