Cheese making in La Chaux (Bagnes)
Description
Early in the morning (8am from Le Châble / 8:15am from Verbier), you take the cable car to Les Ruinettes. From there, another cable car takes you to La Chaux. Once there, you walk 300m downhill and find Marie-Gabrielle Luisier at the Alpage de la Chaux.
There, you will watch the cheese being made and then the serac, visit the maturing cellar and taste the products made on the spot.
At the end of the morning, you return to Verbier, either by cable car or on foot, depending on the weather. Or you can continue your day in the mountains.
